Dash Justice wrote the songs everyone sings.
His face hangs on every girl’s wall. But Dash wasn’t always a rock God.
Once, he was just Jamie, the boy I loved.
But when my name, sung from his lips promises I was good for only one
thing, all sweet thoughts of him die.
Now his excuses mean nothing. His promises are weak and I’m about to
show the world that even rock Gods can be brought to their knees.

5 Freaking Stars!
This book blew my mind!! Where do I even start? This was a rollercoaster of emotions, love, hate, desperation, regret, vengeance, anger, so much anger!
Jamie and Iris, best friends to deep-in-love with each other......
"You're my family, florecita, You're my home. And right there on that patch of grassy ground, listening to the voice that had always connected us, I fell helplessly for my best friend."
Jamie is so in love with her, decides he wants to go with her when she leaves for college and give up his dreams. So Iris does the unthinkable and single-handedly breaks both of their hearts, thinking she was doing the best thing for Jamie. Years pass and Jamie Vega is now the Rock God Dash Justice. His anger toward Iris is palpable and her career is ruined because of a song he wrote about her.
We were sinking, getting lost in a tide that kept us soaked and unconscious. I was the only one willing to break the surface, but to do that, it meant I lost a limb. It meant I had to be willing to swim away from him and know that the damage would wound him forever.
He was astounding, still. Dash was cruel and curt. He was careless and mean at times, but no one could deny his talent or the sweet charisma that poured from him when he performed. It reminded me of the past and the boy who'd been buried by resentment and fury in my mind.
This story moves between the present and the past and we learn how their relationship came to be. I had some serious dislike for Dash at times. And I loved how the author wove the Lakota beliefs into the story at times.
I have no idea what Beg, Book 2, will have in store for us. When I finished this, I could see no redemption for Dash, but I eagerly look forward to the continuation of this story and see where this crazy, wild ride takes us! I highly recommend this and please hurry up with Beg!!! I cannot wait!!

I am a liar. My words were poison and everything I touched
got filthy. Except Iris.
She was the best part of who I was. The only bright spark in
my dull, gray world.
But denial made me stupid and a cruel insult destroyed
everything I hoped to have with the girl of my dreams.
Now I will crawl on my knees and grovel because sometimes, even
rock Gods have to beg.
Author Bio
Eden Butler is an editor and writer of Mystery, Suspense and
Contemporary Romance novels and the nine-times great-granddaughter of an
honest-to-God English pirate. This could explain her affinity for rule breaking
and rum.
When she’s not writing or wondering about her possibly Jack
Sparrowesque ancestor, Eden patiently waits for her Hogwarts letter, edits,
reads and spends way too much time watching rugby, Doctor Who and New Orleans
Saints football.
She is currently living under teenage rule alongside her
husband in southeast Louisiana.
