Emily is a good girl.
Raised by strict catholic parents, she has spent her life trying to live up to
their expectations. She even went so far as to give up the love of her life
because they didn’t approve. Ten years later, dating a man they do approve of, she
finds herself in more trouble than the bad boy could have ever brought her.
Luke was the bad boy in
high school. He’s the leather-wearing bike riding boy from the wrong side of
town, or at least that’s the way people see him. Ten years after the love of
his life disappeared when he needed her most, he owns his own bike repair shop
and is the road captain for the Hades’ Spawn MC. Yes, it’s an MC, but to his
knowledge they are on the up and up. He’s never seen illegal things like drugs
pass through their doors.
I found this book very
interesting. It has young love, vengeful ex’s, deceitful people who should be
trusted and some steamy sex. This was a quick read, but has a cliff-hanger and
I’m eager to see what happens next. I give this book 3.5 stars.
