Title: Ace of Hearts

Author: Chantal Fernando
Publisher: Pocket Star
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: June 11, 2018

The New York Times bestselling author of the “swoonworthy and addicting” (Kim Karr, New York Times bestselling author) Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club series is back with more bad boy bikers in this first novel in the Cursed Ravens Motorcycle Club series.

Erin Dawson had the perfect life growing up in a perfect home with a perfect family. Her parents gave her and her sister everything a child could want. But after learning that the man she’s called “dad” her whole life isn’t actually her biological father, Erin is determined to find the man who is.

Armed with her original birth certificate, she finds her father, but begins questioning if her mom had been right all along to keep this information buried. It turns out he is the president of a motorcycle club, which could not be further from the life Erin leads. But, she’s determined to get to know the man who she gets her striking blue eyes from. Despite getting what she wants and finding her biological father, it’s the slightly older, much rougher but incredibly sexy biker Ace that catches Erin’s eye.

As the new “princess” of the Cursed Ravens, Erin is learning a whole new world, but her father has made it clear she is off limits. Will Ace follow his President’s orders or will he put his heart ahead of his duty? A sizzling tale of family and passion, Ace of Hearts features Fernando’s signature “snark and sass” (Booklist) and is perfect for fans of Kristin Ashley.

"COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN" this quote was made for Ace of Hearts. I tried to put it down but couldn't do it until I finished. What a great MC book. The guys are badboys with a solid code of conduct not to be broken--or bear the consequences. The businesses range from totally clean to not discussed. Loyalty and respect for the club, leaders, and brothers are strictly maintained.

At twenty-one, Erin discovered what she had known all her life was a lie. Her father wasn't the man she called dad, but a name on a birth certificate. Determined to finally meet the man she prepared her self (or tried to) to meet the man in his domain--an MC Club. Nothing prepared her, certainly, she was not ready to meet the Prez. Not knowing how she'd be received, he was just as amazed as Erin. It wasn't easy to develop any kind of relationship. Of course, there were hot badboys, loose women and so much more.

Erin falls back on her smart mouth and stubborn nature. Lucky she's the club princess and manages to get away with a lot. The guys are fascinated with her but she's hands off if they want to keep those hands. She ends up with the club enforcer as her "bestie" as long as she's the only one to call him that.

It's Ace, club Romeo, who wants his hands on her and has a lot to lose if he goes against the Prez. He's more than Erin ever thought she'd find. When he's put on Erin's protection duty their battle is doomed. The relation takes another turn when Erin is threatened. Who wants to do her harm and why?

The author does an honest job of showing reactions of a feisty young woman unprepared for the lifestyle and a newly found father who is totally unprepared for the job. When actions are beyond her acceptance, she reacts with real feelings. Two people who are more than attracted, have trust issues, forbidden by the big man to get together, do the opposite. How will it turn out? Will they have a chance or will the enemy succeed?
