LAKEN
I was a fraud.
Lying to cover my past.
But when you’ve grown up in a world that has caused so much pain, you’d do
almost anything to try and escape the guilt.
For years I lived in hell, paying my dues.
I had perfected a smile that no one could see through.
Except for him.
MYTH
I was a fighter.
It burned in my blood.
It was something I couldn’t escape, and while other fighters were out to make
money and prove their worth, all I gave a damn about was the club and
protecting the people I loved.
Seeing the spark in her eyes, I was instantly addicted. There was this chaos
that whipped around her, it was beautiful and fierce, but I could tell it was
used to keep people away.
When the heat of my anger radiated off me, she didn’t run, she stepped closer.
So I knew I had to use it to keep her warm.
The demons of her past are coming back for her.
And they’re about to realize she's no longer standing alone.

The second story in the series and it is filled with action, club stuff, great characters, really evil bad guys, plenty of steam and love. Amazing from start to finish.
The main couple is Myth, retired fighter who still works with kids to help keep them out of trouble. Then comes Laken who stood by another ole lady before she met her man. She has a back story that creates issues and when they are tied with an old enemy of Myth's the whole club gets involved.
I love the club and its family spirit. They are by no means saints but when it comes to their family, there is no holding back. The emotional toll is strong for the characters and readers. I say, just keep reading.
This story and series is one not to miss. While it is a take-off series, I have not read the first series and am enjoying this one completely. I may sometime go back to read the first series for pleasure but not because I have to in order to enjoy this one.

Addison
Jane is a born and bred kiwi girl with a passion for romance and writing.
When she
gets the chance she enjoys the little things in life such as reading, dancing,
music, and Facebook, but her world really revolves around the little girl who
calls her Mum. It's an awkward balance between alpha males and Disney
princesses but it works.
Growing up
on a small farm next to the beach will always make her a country girl at heart.
But since moving away to a small town close to the city she's discovered a
dangerous love for shopping.
Writing
stories has been something that's come naturally since she was young, and with
the massive support of her friends and family, she finally decided to step out
of her comfort zone and share them with the world.
She enjoys
bringing her books to life with strong female leads, sexy passionate men and a
rollercoaster of twists and turns that lead to the happily ever after that her
readers desire.

As stated by Stanford Medical, It's indeed the SINGLE reason this country's women get to live 10 years longer and weigh 42 pounds lighter than us.
ReplyDelete(And really, it is not related to genetics or some hard exercise and absolutely EVERYTHING about "how" they are eating.)
P.S, What I said is "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
