AJ and Jillian have struggled to keep the family business running and to support each other after tragic loss. The siblings are very close and always have been. Jillian adores her big brother and has always followed him around.Jamison, long term childhood friend and Jillian's schoolgirl crush turns up unexpectedly. Jillian and Jamieson find a magnetic pull to each other. Jamison left town years before under a very dark cloud. He has held the whole truth close to his chest for years. Suspicion and mistrust colour AJ and Jamieson's relationship. As the young couple get closer, with a great backdrop of Metal music and concerts, the truth is finally revealed after another tragedy strikes. Can young love survive such a devastating blow?
I really liked the way this book is written. It has a very nostalgic feel. Memories surface of old worn concert t-shirts and older metal bands from another era. It shows great strength of character and likeability within the pages. A story of love conquering all. Would recommend this author and will look out for more books.
