find : to discover (something or someone) without planning or trying to : to discover (something or someone) by chance Being with him and getting to know him was like discovering something wonderful. Something that you never knew you needed but now that you had found it realized you didn’t just need it, you needed it desperately.

First of a 3 part series in which a disillusioned, barely managing mother of two seeks some much needed time to decide whether to finally end her long term marriage to a man who cheated regularly on her, treated her like a possession and basically controlled everything Annabelle did.

Her best friend sends her to to an island getaway so that Annabelle can figure out the best way forward. Annabelle is full of self doubt about her looks and her own capabilities. Johnny is a reclusive, secretive man who attracts Annabelle like a magnet. He finds himself lusting after the fragile, stressed woman. This is the beginning of their story. I loved the characters, the setting and the obvious attraction between this pair. The book is quite short and does end on a cliffhanger. However you don't need to wait to read them all as they are all available to buy. I was left wondering what would happen next. A little short for my taste but well worth a read.

Title: Remember Me
Series: Finding Me #2
By: Michelle Mankin
Publication Date: January 15, 2016

remember : to have or keep an image or idea in your mind of (something or someone from the past) : to think of (something or someone from the past) again …eyes a silver surface that sparkled reflecting the fake net of stars overhead, he leaned in toward me. “Hey, fancy face.” A thrill shot through me at the sound of his low, entrancing voice. Though he hadn’t yet touched me, I felt his delicious heat, and then the warmth of his breath as his lips hovered near the sensitive skin below my ear. “Remember me?” he whispered.

2nd in the Find Me trilogy. In this book we find out more about Annabelle's home life and why she finds it so difficult to believe in her herself. We learn much more about the secrets Johnny holds too. It is easier to understand both main characters point of view as their backgrounds are revealed.Just because we know more about them doesn't mean we don't want to shake some sense into one or both of them. I enjoyed the is
continuation of Johnny and Annabelle's story.

keep : to continue having or holding (something) : to not return, lose, sell, give away, or throw away (something) “But I can’t keep you, Johnny. What we shared was wonderful. You gave me memories I will never forget. But it was temporary. We both know that. It wasn’t even the start of anything real, anything honest.”

Last book in this trilogy. The last installment in Johnny and Annabelle's story. Here we find out if this couple can get past all their doubts and insecurities, all the obstacles and all the baggage they both have in order to make things work. Annabelle's estranged husband does his worst to try to force Annabelle to stay with him by using outright lies and sly remarks. Annabelle must finally decide what she wants and who she needs in her life. Johnny must prove that he will always choose Annabelle over all else. The attraction between this couple remains scorching hot.The series proves age is only a number and that there is love and life after 40!!! I thoroughly enjoyed all 3 books in this series. I would have given them 5 stars if the books had all been together in one volume. I personally would have liked a longer read . I received all 3 books in return for an honest review for WTMO Blog. I would recommend this author.

Almost forty-one-year-old Annabelle Morris, wife to multi-billionaire record label executive Charles Morris of Zenith Productions, and mother of two is at a crossroads in her life.
Separated from her husband after walking in on him having sex in the public restroom of a charity event she was hosting, she has arrived on the island of St. John alone and rejected, determined to re-evaluate her life and her marriage. She's tired of being her husband’s showpiece while he pretends she doesn't exist. She's tired of trying to make their marriage work for the sake of their two teenage boys.

When she meets Johnny Lightning, a sexy but mysterious piano-playing, bearded sailor, she is tempted to break vows she has never before broken. But Johnny is much younger than her and seems to be hiding more than a few secrets of his own.
From the laid-back sandy beaches of the Caribbean to the elite circles of Dallas high society, Annabelle is forced to make critical choices.
Is a chance for happiness worth the risk of giving up the life she has always known?
Worth jeopardizing her own and possibly even her children's future?
In the end, will she stay on her present course or brave a new and uncharted one?
Find Me, Remember Me, and Keep Me is a full and complete novel in three separate parts.
