Blurb

When a stabbing death calls homicide detective Molly Donahue and her partner to Central Park, it’s just the beginning of a string of murders in an investigation that leads them to Los Angeles, and the death of a Hollywood starlet three decades earlier.

During the course of their investigating, they interview billionaire Kade Wakefield. Molly isn’t prepared for her reaction to him. He’s stoic, intense and possibly on the wrong side of the law, but she’s undeniably attracted.

Kade Wakefield isn’t expecting detective Molly Donahue. She’s the law, and he follows it when it suits him, but the insatiable hunger she stirs has his well-honed control pushing at the cage to break free.

As the investigation heats up, they start an intensely passionate affair but soon learn what’s between them is more than physical, something they’re willing to give it all up for, but her case takes a deadly turn and the one she hunts is now hunting them.

Excerpt

“We’ll go together,” Kade answered. That was when I realized he’d done this before.
“This isn’t your first time.”
“No, Sweetheart.” He touched my cheek. “I’ve got you.”
He so did. He totally had me, and I hardly knew him.
He then threaded his fingers through my hair. I couldn’t stop the moan. “We need to braid this.” His voice was seductively soft. This man was going to be my undoing. He’d thought ahead when he pulled an elastic tie from his pocket.
His strong fingers twisted my hair; his touch lingered on my neck, like he was enjoying the moment as much as me. I was so wet and all he was doing was braiding my hair. The thought of his mouth on me had an ache accompanying the wet heat. He tugged lightly on my hair, but the thought of him pulling my head back for his kiss, caused more heat to pool between my legs. It was official, I had no control around him, and I fucking loved it.

Kade and Molly

A murder. Maybe more than one tied together. A history that may also be tied to it. Lots of suspects. When the murder from the past seems possibly connected even more suspects and witnesses become part of the investigation--including Kade. Detective, Molly, is drawn to him just as he to her. This could be sticky. The two can't resist being together. How will this affect her position in the police force?

This mystery has so many twists, turns, suspects I dare the reader to figure this one out before the end. It is good and I recommend it. I really liked all of the characters and their connections.

Wow, what a story. This book had so many twist and turns. I couldn't put book down once started. I couldn't work out who the killer was. But I worked it out near the end.

I loved Molly and Kade together, they may of met under circumstances of murder but they had instant chemistry when they met. I loved that Kade helps with the investigation from the start.

L.A Fiore did amazing job on this book.
