Meeting Rafe, a member not judging the contest begins what she knows is a mistaken relationship. Can she trust him? He seems to have his own problems besides being famous and the stress of touring.
The story is of two young people with pressure who try to find something outside of their stressful lives.
For Rock Romance fans this is a winner. The characters are likable with strength beyond their years. This is a cliffhanger in three parts.

Eva & Rafe continued
She hasn't heard from him. She should have known. Now she's offered a chance to pay her parents back for all the sacrifices they made for her. She has to pull up her big girl panties (and keep them up) Touring with the band would be hard enough but her feelings for Rafe make it so much worse. Add the way Levi is starting to feel could be an ending instead of the beginning of her career.
The touring life is both wild and exhausting. Add the emotional stress and touring life might be too much. While the rest of the band seems to make her feel part of the family, Rafe ignores or scowls at her. Will it remain that way? She's supposed to mellow out the band and especially Levi. How can she be there for Levi when she's in love with his brother who shuns her?
Could it get worse? What could happen to confuse Eva's life even more? You'll have to read to find out no spoilers here.

Eva & Rafe continued
Rafe and Eva return to the band and the tour. How will they be greeted? How is Eli?
So many questions. Eva knows she was wrong to leave but just had to have some time. When Rafe came after her it could have ended the band. Coming back will take work to be accepted again.
Will they continue as the stars they have been? If it isn't enough that the brothers, Rafe and Eli, have issues with Eva between them, is someone else working against the success of the band? Is someone trying to remove Eva? When trouble stirs will the guys pull together as the family they have always been and include Eva?
A good ending to Rafe and Eva's story. It is touching with angst, love, steam, snark, and loyalty. The reader is gonna love the BlackHearted boys and their girl.

Author of over thirty mature young adult and new adult
novels, L A is happiest writing the kind of books she loves to read: addictive
stories full of teenage angst, tension, twists and turns.

likely find L A immersed in a book, escaping the chaos that is life.
