OMG Eden Summers I love you!! I have read this series with enthusiasm and have loved each and every book and every character!! I've loved Ryan from the outset and couldn't wait for his story.
Ryan was the kind, sweet, considerate, thoughtful member of Reckless.
She wanted to fix this because he deserved to be the one who was coddled for once. Every other member of Reckless Beat had stolen the dramatic limelight more than a handful of times over the years. Mason, Sean, Blake, and Mitch had all driven her crazy with moments of melodrama, while Ryan had been the peace and civility. The charmer. The goodness that kept her smiling.
Ryan is now facing a nasty divorce from his wife Julie. And Leah and Ryan have a kiss that sends them both reeling, but pushes Leah away (because of her contract), and convinces Ryan they should explore the feelings they have had toward each other for years.
Throw in a huge mess of Grander and Felicity (must read) and poor Ryan.....
Researching Ryan's next bed partner was akin to a chili sauce enema.
The story really takes a turn and you think they will never end up together, even though every ounce of your being is rooting for them.
I absolutely loved Ryan and sometimes felt the need to smack Leah. I honestly give her credit but really thought, "seriously?" However, her determination to do what was right, was one of the things that made you love her. She is so disciplined
And the rest of the band...OMG, sometimes they made me LOL. But they truly love her.
"You've fought for us from day one. It's our turn to fight for you."
I loved this entire series and these men (and women). I hope the author might think of some other books with these characters. I'm sad to finish this but am so happy to have taken this ride.
I highly recommend this entire series!!
