This book was well worth waiting for. It's one of those you have to keep reading. I couldn't put the book down.

I loved Smokey and Ashley together, they take a while to give in to their desires. But Ashley gives Smokey run for his money. They both are stubborn. But when they give in its amazing.

I can't wait to see what comes next.

Ashley was almost there--a partner in the marketing firm. She didn't want to take on the friend of her boss whose playboy rep made him choose her because she was so dedicated she could deal with him. She didn't want to take him on but when she found out the man she sent to prison with her testimony was getting out the timing was good. It didn't take long to realize why Smokey had a reputation.

Smokey was a dedicated, hands-on construction company owner. Not to mention a hot, charming, biker. Yeah, the man had charm along with his cocky attitude. He wasn't used to being turned down. He didn't mess with employees but she was different and he didn't plan to let her get away.

Meanwhile, working on his account, getting other accounts, she was being pranked with annoying but not dangerous things. Or was she? Could it all be part of the plan to get to her by the man she'd testified against?

Smokey has his own problems, not counting a full workload plus, familyIssues, and club problems along with going after Ashley he was a busy man. Their chemistry is steamy. Can they find a way to be more? Do either of them want more than a night which won't work with their continued working together.

It is a packed story with lots of suspects, time with his brothers, watching her learn about the MC life, and the steam they create when they are near. Another good one.

I’d wanted to devour every inch of her, lay her down, spread her open to me and fuck her with my tongue until she was coming apart around me. 

Just the thought of sinking inside her, her walls squeezing my cock so fucking tight while those sweet moans she’d made last night sounded in my ears, almost had me coming down the shower drain. But I couldn’t. I wouldn’t. 

I’d told her she was safe here. My home was her sanctuary. 

It was even more than just her father’s orders to protect her. 

She had an uncanny ability of awakening some sort of white knight complex in me. 

Knight? 

I was more like the villain who would sully everything good in her if I allowed her to get any closer to me, either physically or emotionally. 

The most confounding thing about all of it was that she wasn’t even my usual type. 

She was so innocent. So soft. Her kindness and her determination to help me and try to ease my pain was something I wasn’t used to. No one showed concern for me. Not that I wanted anyone to. I couldn’t afford to be that openly intimate with anyone. It was just that I had no idea how to handle it. People didn’t give a fuck about me. Hell, most didn’t really consider me human. Wow, what a great start to a series. I was on edge of my seat throughout this book wondering what will happen next. I couldn't put the book down once started. This book had everything from romance to violence.

I loved Wraith and Ashley together, they may have been thrown together because Scott asked Wraith for help. But they couldn't help their feelings even if they fought it. I loved how Ashley helped Wraith with his demons.

I can't wait for more.

This was a great story! I loved Braden Nichols and Tanna Hilliard together. They are very likeable characters. Braden is a single firefighter who is longing for a family. Tanna is a single mother/tow truck driver with two young sons. She struggles to make ends meet but does the mainly male job for the pay. They meet on the job and Braden is immediately captivated. Add a couple of bad guys and drama into the mix and you will be hooked!

"There's nothing I wouldn't do for you or these kids. Nothing in the world. You're everything to me."

Braden & Tanna

I happen to love this whole series. This one is especially touching. Tanna is a woman with a lot to deal with. She is a widow with two boys, one who is special needs. His particular problem requires a lot of patience. The other boy is great and helpful an amazing kid. Too bad her boss isn't. She works in a tough field as a tow truck driver.

Braden is past ready to settle down but hasn't found a woman who is right for him. Who would think a woman with two kids would be the one but he's pretty sure she is.

I love the story, the characters, and the romance. There is chemistry, steam, family as well as a good storyline that is very believable.

Wow, what a brilliant book. I couldn't put book down once started. It had me wanting more.

I loved Braden and Tanna together, they had a instant connection and they met on a scene. They were great together and they made each other no longer lonely.

I loved Braden with Max and Daniel, he made them so happy.

I can't wait for more.
