Ryder Axton
I always fight hard, fuck harder, and never let myself get personally involved. But my assignment, to apprehend Eduardo Miguel comes to a grinding halt when I find a missing federal witness held captive in his basement. It becomes fucking personal, fast!
Keeping Farrington safe, even if it—or more likely she—kills me, is now my only mission. But she’s terrified and fights me at every turn. Earning her trust becomes more than a way to save both our lives, it’s like an addictive drug. I need it—I need her to put her faith in me—the way I need air to breathe.
When she begins investigating the hidden parts of my soul, I almost can’t deny her.
I know I can protect her. I know I could pleasure her in one explosive night she’d always remember and I’d never forget. What I don’t know is how I could be falling so fucking hard. There’s no way in hell I can let that happen; getting too close to me comes with an ominous curse that won’t be defied.
I thought I had nothing to lose. I was wrong.
Rachel Farrington
I should’ve never taken that dangerous shortcut through the unlit alley to the frat party. It was where I saw a fellow student brutally murdered and how I made my way onto a cartel leader’s hit list.
As a federal witness, I thought I was safe in the protective custody of the FBI . . . that is until I woke up chained in the monster’s basement.
When a powerful and lethal soldier claiming to be a bounty hunter shows up, I’m not sure if he’s rescuing me or dragging me towards a greater hell. But after a series of experiences that defy death, the overwhelmingly sexy, dirty-minded, Navy Seal trained and hot blooded bounty hunter—who obviously plays by his own rules—just might win my trust.
He is not an ordinary man. He’s strong, dark and deadly; his past is mysterious and his motives unreadable. He seems to be made of the stuff of myth and legend, and of ink and steel.
Is Ryder Axton for real? Or is he employed by my captor for a more sinister purpose?
When Death comes... will we be strong enough to defy it?
***Each novel in the Brothers of Ink and Steel series focuses on one couple's journey to their HEA***

Vickie's 5 Star Review

Adrenaline pumping action packed page turner of a book with a bad ass bounty hunting tattooed alpha that will literally have you hanging on the edge of your seat, but will ultimately have you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside.

Rachel Farrington, college student and federal witness after she saw a fellow student brutally murdered by a Cartel Boss. Thinking she was safe in the protective custody of the FBI, finds herself chained up and held captive in Eduardo Miguel’s basement. Fearing for her life with no chance of being rescued is surprised beyond belief when a powerful and lethal soldier turns up claiming to be a bounty hunter she’s unsure if he’s rescuing her or dragging her to a greater hell. This book had everything I love about a good story. The author’s style of writing instantly sucked me in and didn’t let me go until the very last word, and then I let out the massive breath I had been holding since the beginning. For me personally I felt it had the right mix of everything, action, humour, sizzling sexual chemistry, flowing plotline, main characters and secondary characters that had depth and were well developed. I especially loved the banter between Ryder and Rachel the one liners and the alligator scene had me in stiches and that ending oh I loved that ending!!

And just in case you didn’t know how much I loved this book by the amount of times I have used the word love I literally cannot recommend it enough to readers who enjoy an action packed, fast paced read with a sizzling love story thrown into the mix.

This is the third instalment of the Brothers of Ink and Steel Series each book can be read as a standalone and although other characters from the previous books are in this story it didn’t hinder my reading experience and I will certainly be reading the other books in this series.
