Can Tongue love? Is he capable of more than taking blood and giving pain? Readers know he cares for Sarah but that is different. It is friendship, not male-female love. He loves his swamp Kitties but that isn't quite the same thing. So what about Daphne? She's a bookstore clerk. Have we ever seen his interest in books?

Wow, this book had so many shocking revelations about Tongue. I couldn't put the book down once I started.
I loved Tongue and Daphne together, they both have demons but they both help each other. You could see Tongue starting to change.
