Holding On by L. Wilder

It can hurt like hell to let go, but sometimes holding on hurts even more.

Shotgun

Over the years, I’d taken some pretty hard hits. Hell, some were hard enough to break a man, and they had damn near broken me. My past haunted me, consuming me with rage, guilt, and regret.

As the Ruthless Sinners’ enforcer, I held those dark feelings close, used them to keep my brothers and the club out of harm’s way. It wasn’t easy, especially when there was always someone itching to take us down. The same held true on the night that the mysterious Remington Taylor was left for dead at our doorstep.

One look at her had me questioning everything.

She was in a league of her own, beautiful and smart, and had a strength like no one I’d ever known. This woman was going to ruin me—make me feel things I’d buried a long time ago. I could see it in her eyes, feel it in her touch, but I still let her draw me in.

For the first time in my life, the pain of holding on was greater than the fear of letting go.

Holding On is book two in the Ruthless Sinners series. This is Shotgun’s story, and while it’s part of a series, it can be read as a standalone.
This addition to the Ruthless Sinner’s MC will have you rooting for forgiveness, mended hearts, and second chances.

5 STARS

Wow, what a brilliant story. It's one of those that kept you on your toes. I couldn't put the book down.
I loved Remington and Shotgun together, they may have met under bad circumstances because of what happens. Shotgun fought his feelings for Remington for a while, but their attraction was too strong. They were perfect for each other.
  I can't wait for more.

Remington and Shotgun

A book as hot as its cover.

Shotgun is the enforcer for the Ruthless Sinners. And ruthless they are. He doesn't do relationships. He has a past of loss and is not prepared to feel that pain again. That is until he finds a woman who caught his eye tossed out after being beaten and more. It was surprising she was even alive. Since she was found on the club's business property they had to get her away and took her to the club doctor. He brought her there so he was assigned to protect her. The last thing he wanted to do.

She didn't know why she'd been attacked. She didn't know about MC clubs and she didn't know about him. They'd both learn about the other and the journey is a pleasure for the reader. These are two strong characters with loyalty. They are smart, sometimes a little funny and both cared for by those who know and get to know them.

The enemy is sharp and hard to catch. Will the club do so? Will they be able to end the threat?

The love they fight against is gonna be strong. Even the club sees that. Watching how she deals with the club will keep the reader going and wanting more. There is steam, club loyalty, and insight into the club dynamic which would surprise those who don't know the club.

Don't miss this one.

Leslie Wilder grew up in a small town in West Tennessee. A country girl at heart, she’s always thought that life is too short, but she had no idea how short it really was until her brother passed away in 2014. She’s always been an avid reader, loving the escape only a great book can give, and wondered if she had what it took to write one of the wild romances she’d come to adore. With the support of her family and friends, she published Inferno: A Devil Chaser’s MC, one year after her brother’s death. With him in mind, she fulfilled her lifetime dream of writing. Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.
Leslie has been blown away by the support of her readers, appreciating every message, review, and encouraging word she’s received over the past year. She looks forward to continuing this journey with them for years to come.
