Oh wow, I really enjoyed this book!! This is a first time read by this author, but it was very good!
Where to start? Kade is the ultimate alpha, rock star, successful, get whatever he wants whenever he wants it....
Kade is the embodiment of a book boyfriend. He's got the three T's cornered --tall, tatted, and tough.
Kade Black is a beautiful, damaged soul with more depth than I gave him credit for. Unfortunately, he's also six-foot-five inches of nothing but heartbreak. He's testosterone and swagger eighty percent of the time, but the rare occasions that he's allowed me to peek at the man behind the curtain have led me down a path I don't know how to come back from, but my heart is completely smitten with the man hiding underneath.
Ainsley is a mess....Her personal life is a mess.....and her BFF Jen drags her along on a 3 week tour on the bus for the one of the hottest Rock bands she is now representing for her PR firm. She and Kade meet and have an instant connection.
Ainsley's ex plays a big role in this story and you will love to hate him. He is an evil, nasty, and just plain mean guy as the story unfolds. His actions cause A (as Kade calls her) an emotional tornado.
"It was only a matter of time before you became a dirty slut, just like your friend Jenny!"
As this story unfolds, I had a miriad of emotions, and felt a great deal of frustration at times with A. I wanted her to stop pushing the panic button. But I understood it.
Kade had his issues, but I loved him! He knew what he wanted and never gave up.
I loved this author's writing. She had a nice descriptive way of writing...
A gust of wind blows outside. A whirlwind of red and orange leaves comes to life and pirouette in the crisp, clean air. I inhale and hold it in my lungs before blowing it out. You don't find natural beauty like this in L.A.
I loved the ending of this....kind of didn't see it coming when I read the Epilogue!!
I would love to see a detailed story of Jenny and Banger!!
